journal: r + r
I'm still in vacation mode. I've been back from my Scandinavian excursion for almost two weeks now and it still feels like it did when I arrived home. I had the absolute best time. It was the first time that we visited since we moved from Malmö, and it felt mighty good to be back! It wasn't a trip for shopping, site-seeing or shenanigans... more like a trip for relaxing, catching up with friends and family. We only did lowkey things and went to places that were serene. I noticed once I got home and started to edit photos that I only took pictures of landscapes and nature. I guess that's what I was craving... It's been such a sucky few months for us and we needed to breakaway for a bit. I'm glad we did. Now, I'm refreshed and ready to act a fool...j/k more like just getting out of the house.
While looking through my photos, I also realized different tones of greens and blues throughout. I'm not sure if it's my mood bringing me towards those colors or if it's just a predominant colorway throughout Sweden. Either way, I like it.
